In loving memory of James Czornobaj

In loving memory of James Czornobaj.

PIJAC Canada regrets to announce the passing of a member: James Brian CZORNOBAJ, November 2, 1956 – March 21, 2021

James Brian Czornobaj used to own Worlds Exotic Pets in Victoria, British Columbia. He left Burlington with hardly anything and worked hard to build a great life with two kids, two homes and two pet shops. 30 years ago, the Worlds Exotic Pets store was a staple in Victoria, the ‘go to’ place for pets of all kinds.

James was passionate about reptiles, fish and birds, and had accumulated a wealth of knowledge over the years. He also bred and sold reptiles on a wholesale basis. Due to his long career, he helped guide many people from childhood into their adult years in the care of their reptiles and fish, passing that knowledge to the next generation. Not only did he do a lot to promote the hobby; by providing freely accessible and accurate information, he helped owners keep their pets healthy and thriving.

Due to health concerns, the store was closed a couple of years ago, but James left an indelible mark in this community. He was a wealth of information and was very passionate about the pet industry.

James has an adventurous spirit and an incredible love for animals. He was an uncle, a brother, a husband, and a great father who will be always missed.

PIJAC Canada is touched by the amazing Canadian families and business owners dedicated to the pet industry. Our condolences go to the Czornobaj family and we wish you much courage in this ordeal.
