Just like a cat, the Canadian pet industry lands on its feet, but perhaps not always with the same grace as a feline. There are times even with the best-laid plans that technology can go awry, which was intermittently the case over the weekend. First and foremost, thank you to all our exhibitors and visitors who assisted us with getting over the hump. We are happy to say that despite the glitches, based on attendance numbers and order’s placed the National Pet Industry Show Fall Virtual Edition, successfully connected businesses from coast to coast.
- Total exhibitors: 141
- Total number of visitors: 1,004
- Total number of companies represented: 940
- Total number of booth visits: 43,100
- Total number of webinars viewed: 150 (on-demand webinars are online!)
Next April, we are looking forward to seeing everyone back on the show floor in Richmond, BC. It will be a much-anticipated reunion of clients, friends, and industry family. Details for the show are scheduled to be published in the coming months as we hit the ground running in January. For those members who are interested in getting in on the Canadian Pavilion at the Global show please email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your space. We have a number of companies already committed and need to know the level of interest in order to design the pavilion.
Please check out The Canadian Pet Community Awards – Eastern Region videos, a tribute to the many everyday workers and business owners who serve and take care of the many pets and their families.
Thank you for your support and participation. We are truly stronger as one unified voice of the Canadian pet industry!
