Nominations for the Canadian Pet Community Awards – Western Edition (BC, AB, SK and MB), open today! For the 6th year in a row, PIJAC Canada will honor our hard-working members. These awards highlight the effort made by all companies and individuals who work hard for animal welfare through public education about animal care, responsible ownership, and their involvement in the pet community. The categories are:
This year we are happy to officially launch the newest award, the John and Kelly Ayers Philanthropy Award for manufacturing and distribution companies. Award parameters include aiding the pet community through support events and initiatives, involvement in animal and pet business advocacy issues, supporting the right of responsible pet businesses to offer healthy pets to the community, and mentoring up-and-coming pet businesses. The 2023 award will be presented at the show in Toronto in September.
