Your Board of Directors for 2022

PIJAC Canada’s annual general meeting took place on Monday, officially welcoming three new directors and thanking two long-term departing directors. We are pleased to present your Board of Directors for 2022.

Departures

Mike Campbell of MarCam Pet Nutrition (Ontario) has completed his final term this year after 8 years on the Board.  Thorough out his tenure, Mike has held both the Vice-Chair and Chairman positions, serving on every committee, using his vast experience in the industry to successfully guide the association.
Lisa Nitkin owner of Pets West (British Columbia) served the association for 6 years, providing integral input speaking as an independent pet store owner.  We wish Lisa all the best as her store transitions into new hands with Dane Creek Capital and with her future endeavors.

Both Mike and Lisa took a keen interest in the workings of the association, stepping up to help member businesses, lobby for fair legislation, and represent the Canadian pet industry whenever called upon.  On behalf of the staff and entire board of directors, we sincerely thank them for their years of passionate dedication.

PIJAC Canada Board of Directors 2022

Being a member of the PIJAC Canada Board of Directors extends beyond annual meetings.  Our directors are involved in committees that steer all facets of the association, trade shows, advocacy, membership, education, and our most recent addition, the live animal committee.  Each of our directors is engaged with the PIJAC Canada team throughout the year, electronically and in person at our Canadian events and also lending support at international shows.  It is thanks to the dedication of these Canadian business owners that PIJAC Canada has been the voice of the Canadian pet industry for over 30 years.
